Ilegal Mezcal Anejo

The Ilegal Mezcal Anejo is produced using 100% Agave Espadin. The agave hearts are slowly roasted in a traditional conical pit with mesquite and eucalyptus wood, and then processed with a time-honored millstone. The resulting mash is left to ferment in open-air oak vats, lending the spirit a unique and robust character.

Following fermentation, the beverage is double distilled in a copper alembic still, preserving its distinct personality. It is then aged in medium charred French and American oak barrels before being bottled in clear glass with a natural cork and wax seal.
